The End

Post by happytrails » October 30th, 2010, 4:03 pm

There was a moment that felt like good-bye
After that hug, I went home and cried
Long time coming; quickly ended
What`s been broken may never be mended
No words were spoken as you held me so tight
But you said good-bye when you hugged me that night

very effective....the emotion not lost in the brevity,...rather enhanced...

it's hard to use words to describe a non verbal experience, but you did it....
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Thank you saw. This one came from a broken heart. I am glad you 'liked' it.

It is a "good" one--a good thought, abrupt and shared, like a hug goodbye. Not the kind of thing we perhaps like, but one to which we can easily (too easily?) relate.

Thanks, Joel. I think you're right. Who hasn't had one of those aha moments? But this aha moment wasn't a happy aha.
