gordon ching kenney

gordon was born in chatsworth california, he had a big scooby do dog and a van and a huge family that took him surfing from about 9 years old on- malibu canyon was a haunt of all the brothers and sisters- all nine of them and all thier friends. They one by one migrated to Hanalei, even mama mary.
Surfing was the entire world because every wave has its own tale to tell, and time flies when you are having a good time.Sometimes one of the problems is that it is a bit too much fun.
She fell in love with him, and all the money he had lovedand drugs and fights and sadness were dead before he was......all except the love.
she could remember when he was hot, and smiles and laughter, his island wisdom, continous fight due to pain. she remembered fishing with him, going to the valley on foot .. him picking her up in his little tin fishing boat.she remebered waipio valley in the treehouse, long walks on the beach, impatient surfing lessons, a beautiful wedding, thailand, australia-and now he was looming spiritually because, as usual she could not read his mind back then, she could hear him now sometimes, but because he hadnt forgiven her--not realising the circumstances of why she did what she had to do to save her kids lives-he was still angry- and it did not matter that she needed his help in the spirit world-he had loved her all along, thinking she would come home to the island for him sooner than she had, and when she did, he was ashamed, sick with cancer. She didnt know how much he loved her until she walked over and found her pottery in his yard, like an antique from an expired era, his love came through.
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Well told tale. Woven nice and tightly, with no waste. Love it.
