104.

lilac blooms black throat
chinaberry jubilee
honey scented day

Flores lilas con gargantas negras;
júbilo del árbol de paraíso
perfumando de miel al día.

The essence captured as if in cupped hands, beautifully.

Wonderful haiku, as down in South America, bees buzz & flowers start to bloom! 8)

Tree of Paradise...is that the same as the tree of heaven, the noxious beautiful weed of cities and farmlands? They're so beautiful. I love them. Como tu poesia (I'm too lazy for accents keys...sorry...but I mean it, I love it!).

Dadio, Steve, Joel -- Your praise is the validation of my efforts. Without your comments I would doubt my abilities as a writer of haiku. As of yesterday the book is nearly finished as to design, now if I can just control the haiku in the back of my mind, those unwritten ones that are jumping up and down like the donkey in Shrek ... "Pick me! Pick me!"

Merry Christmas, Gentlemen! Sue♥♥♥

Be validated! Your worth in voice and writing is deep and ontologic in its nature: your soul has been well-formed with the voice of a perspective that is always a gift to those who feet stand at ang(e)les from your zapatos!

Mil gracias, Don Joel -- un comentario un poco enigmatico, pero sin duda positivo. Muchos cariños, poeta y amigo. Sue

Thank you, Wireman, kind sir! A haiku about an armadillo is tugging at my mind -- can I resist? Sue ♥♥♥
