It is YOU!.... Kurt Rostek = Artguy!

And it's wonderful! What's the beautiful music? I loved the music.

And I loved your voice and descriptions. Your voice is a radio voice. Do you have any recordings of your spoken word poetry?

If so, I would love to hear them! Your voice rocks! It's calming and honest and deep. ;)

Thanks all...When I was in art college and then university I worked on the campus radio stations...It was fun, but projecting that positive vibe everyday is not something that would come easy for me. Making the video was an interesting process. It was made by a film student from my alma mater. The music was written and played by his girlfriend. She must be a prodigy as she was barely 20m years old. At the end of it I was so pleased I gave them a painting. I had no idea what I was going to say. Everything said where in answer to his questions. It was like an interview without the interviewer. Part of it was filmed in my home and part in my studio. There is of course a you tube link to it, but it also on my web site. There is a fellow I work with that just finished his masters in film. We keep threatening to do a collaborative project. I have too much on my mind to do and just no energy to do any of it. I'm already toying with 2 curatorial projects, and a 3rd just got thrown at me in NYC. Then I have my book project which toddling along. I have just started the In The Garden Of.... paintings...I can only hope my health holds out. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Artguy, I loved your articulate video on the showcase of your paintings!
I immediately knew it was you, for some strange reason... 8) (Have you ever
been to Gander Airport, in Gander, Newfoundland?)

Hey Doreen, there is a recording of my reading at an exhibit 5 years ago, otherwise nothing. last year I read Howl at a party while a friend of mine made noise with his 65 Fender Strat, and a young lady pounded on her African drum...but alas it is in the wind never to be heard again... 8)
