Two short love (?) poems

Post by jim turner » December 23rd, 2010, 8:56 pm

Arithmetic of Love

After all is said and done,
opines the mathematician,
one and one make two.
Not so, Cupid protests, not true;
look closely, points that magician,
how one and one make one.

Midnight, Beginning of the End

“Are you asleep?”

“Yes.”
