I like it as if it was early in the day when the sun wasn't quite out (photo one), that lonely and longing, but within 'hours' we see the sun light it up. Really captivating for audience, for me.

Thanks Doreen.

I think my problem has been being too concerned with overworking and as a result Ive stopped short and the painting was not as good as it could be.
Heres a couple I reworked recently.

The changes were pretty subtle, define this, remove that, darken the road a bit, change the sky. I put them into photoshop first and played around. The changes took less then 15 min but I think the paintings are better now.
