love it to death
i love it all
i love it to death
every word
with every breath
the metaphor
the simile
even
the skill-
fully placed
apostrophe
so sublime
all the time
goodness gracious
it even rhymes!

Re: love it to death
i love it, too,
the way you do
the dance of verse
i've read MUCh worse... (;))
you are a poe tree king
or earl, i like the way
you twirl your pen
with metaphor and simile.
one is a tree
and one is like a tree.
how simple can that be?
teehee

Re: love it to death
i have altered the destiny of cincinnati merely by being there - it's a well- known fact. and, if i may be so bold - is poet an accurate term to describe what i am? sort of diminishes my accomplishments and capabilities. i prefer something more along the lines of: maestro of the word symphonic, or el literato - yes! that's it - el literato.
Re: love it to death
does el literato wear a mask ?.....a cape ?........does he carry a rapier, sharper than a honed tongue ?.....vice versa ?.....curious..........

he carries an orb.

el literato, orb in hand,
pen in the other--scepter of the realm of the New Word Order,
whose subjects tickle the ivories of keyboard touchscreen rhapsodies.
