you've heard the
story i tell about satchmo
i saw him when i was a youngun
maybe 9 on the steel pier in atlantic city
in the ballroom where i was right in front of the man
what an experience
all that sweat and white hankerchiefs
"hello dolly, this is louis dolly!"
he is my biggest influence as a vocalist
it's cool you hear that ST.....

snow building in the january sky
long ride back to the catoctins
flakes like crystal flowers
showering the I-70

after we danced the night away

it all starts
last night the rehearsal for the

in the garden

I lived on east fayette street
(Pulaski highway)
in a house that was seperated from the highway by three feet of sidewalk
the windows shake rattle and roll
when them trucks blew by

The Russian girls
they could all be California girls
keeping you warm at night

The cold war is over
My peace divend is in the mail
in the meantime it is all jamperbation combination and permutation
in the never ended now

just back from the cafe nola

a resounding success
i feel blessed
ready for the next 2 shows
2 hours of sleep and i'll be
ready to creep back to the
rebar plantation ST

just back from the coast
it feels like but I been back
since Tuesday

still running on a month of sweet solitude
and sea air
I feel like a new man again
lost 16 pounds
sleep fast bro
