Unless you are mentally dysfunctional in some manner or other, you are responsible for whatever you say or do. There is no cop out. No government or religious organization in any part of the world has the authority to force you to do or say anything you feel or know to be morally wrong. Following orders whether ordered by a government or religious organization is no excuse; you are still the one responsible. The buck stops with you.

somehow, being a buck stopper sounds so friggin' final...

last week I met a dear friend after the vacations, while I was playing with her little son she showed me two books she was reading "Basta de historias" de Andrés Oppenheimer and something like the philosophy of Dr. House... With Sherlock-Dr House it was all ok -we are in summer!-

but the Oppenheimer book -with big publicity in the libraries here- made me wonder what is happening... maybe Fukuyama is back..!
