congruous

Post by creativesoul » January 28th, 2011, 5:48 pm

the curves of his face
traced her bold warrior like stance in the shadows of the night
where softness carried most women
this one had to learn how to fight

papa liked to drink, and mama liked to scream
liked all those expensive cold creams
papa was an actor see

she always wondered where is he?
even while standing there, it seemed he was half here, and half where his twin brother gone

she knew the curves of his face
from a babe s hands
innocent eyes
no disguise for him
no lies for him

that is why she had to dance
papa sold off the family sacreds
darkness followed him
too bazzare
many walker came to see it all
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

my father makes me feel
stronger, brighter, alone
my mother makes me feel
protective, defensive, annoyed

a shrink would say "use your I statements"
ifeel like you are controling when you tell me to hurry the fuck up

that would have gone over big with the actor in biker movies
i am not sure who i thought i was
poppy had a horse
smokey, and when i walked up
it smelled me, and then my father
i followed him for years trying be a daughter
but i failed
mama is still screaming and burning food
selling furniture for botox
paintings to her grandchildren

it will never be anything
more than what it is
