heart that lied

Post by creativesoul » January 31st, 2011, 12:41 am

when i feel that connection
i think it is love
i neglect to ask what kind of love is this?
i believe that some extrodinary power
is in charge of the love confection
and sometimes i get some too
no more licking the spoon
waiting endlessly for a taste
seems to me
feeling whole, rich and beautiful
for a moment
seems fair, and well deserved
just as soon as i pat myself on the back
humility returns

with these ides in my head
it is no wonder
i want to go to bed

my heart told me the truth
but lied to him
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

it's a fine line between a lie and confusion at times.....often life is playing the hand your dealt while you try to figure out the rules of the game before you lose all your clothes................
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Confusion sets, in that place between love and lust. I have a hard time with that too. Its not the heart that lies she'll always tell the truth. It is our minds that jumble everything and turn everything you felt into a crappy broken down out house. Yup it seems all I'm ever left with a big pile of shit covered up by withered swollen boards.

I don't know if itis a blessing or a curse
I can not hide my lying heart
I am too transparent.

Keep on writing CS
