fit

Post by creativesoul » February 11th, 2011, 2:38 pm

i suppose
that having a fit
would have worked
i was told that this time would come
even called a few times
in court i blew an eagle bone whistle
i asked you twice to snap out of it
almost like a box of rocks
i could hear the malfunction
dysfunctional fantasies
inability to commit
empty words

now all this frothy appeal
to get your hooks in sideways
just are not going to work
you did meet your match
then she caught fire and left
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

we walked together down the streets of portland
we seemed to love each other

his best friend died
his mother died
he didnt get custody of his kids
he beat me up

something changed when he went to work in that knife factory
valentines day is coming and i am freaking out
i have tried not to feel these kinds of feelings for a long time

we went to meetings and native american ceremonies together
i loved his twin boys
they loved me
he didnt anymore
but i love me again
