To: Toxic Apple (inspired by your name)

Post by rite » February 17th, 2011, 6:19 pm

Red apple
Looks like

No harm
Im famished

Sweet succulent
Delightful taste

Nap interrupted
Kissed awake

Big mistake
No loving

Embrace, only
Her fear

Nightmare begins
First kiss

I suspect this wasn't at all inspired by his name.

I also suspect you know each other in person and have re-registered new names because of the nasty altercations you had before on this site.

I'm posting this in public because I not only suspect it, I'm quite certain of it and want the rest of the members to know what's allowed here and what isn't.

All I have to say now is that we have ONE rule on this site which is upheld and that rule is to respect and be kind to each other.

So, if you're new screen names begin slamming each other, whether it be in the form of poetry or by private message, I will see it and know about it and that will be the end of it.

Be nice and respectful. That's it.

Thanks!

I do not want to offend anyone and no i do not know toxic apple. Sorry you have mistaken me for someone else.

I read the orignial stories of the Disney Princesses not to long ago and the name reminded me of the story so technically i was inspired by both not just the screen name.

I wont call names i do not do that and usually i do not respond to anyone in anymore then one word responses.

Thanks you for the concern of the site and monitoring so closely, makes for a peaceful place to write.

I thank you rite for the poem. I don't know that I have ever inspired anything, but I find I quite like it.

On a side note, I am sorry for any misunderstanding. I also don't wish to offend anyone, and didn't realize I was being disrespectful or unkind. I am new to the site and new to letting strangers read my feelings. I would like to assure everyone that (as far as I know) I do not know anyone who posts on this forum.

Nice write, rite.

Miscommunication sucks...... You may want to re-evaluate your heading it looks as though things may have been misconstrued from the title alone. I have also read the story of Snow White before it became fantasized what a horrific story indeed.

Rite... My sincere apologies.

Recently we had altercations on the site between people who knew each other in person and it got to be pretty ugly. There were also reports of abuse of our private message system where someone was harassing other people, all of whom seemed to know each other in person.

One of them had her account deleted at her request because she was given a warning not to harass people and not to continue with the poetry which was quite personal and bitter and personally attacking.

I mistook you for her and I'm very embarrassed.

Please know this is a nice community to post your poetry and share your works and I hope you will forgive me for the mistaken identity.

The IP#s were so similar, I truly thought you were her and it was all starting all over again.

What a horrible way to welcome you to the site. :(

I feel very bad about the mistaken identity. I hope you will accept my sincere apology and continue posting and enjoying yourself here. :)

PS - If you'd like me to delete all the comments on this thread which have nothing to do with the poem, I can do that.... so you can start all over with getting comments on the piece of poetry. Just let me know.

Doreen, no harm done please do not worry about any of this. I searched the site and read the poetry war that took place here so recently. I can see how you could think i was any one of the writers that was involved. Not only could i see similar writing styles but the names were the kicker...Did not realize that there would be a ryter, writer, and rite all in one place. Pleasr leave all posts on here as I am sure there are others thinking the same as you and leaving the posts up will also clarify to everyone else too.

On a side note I would like to let the pink elephant out of the bag...Although the poetic war between these characters was out of line; the little battles that occurred between posts have such a beauty within tem. My brain has been ignited with such poetic stories to tell, first I will work on Sleeping Beauty.

To me poetry is a beautiful song of description. One where if you never experience such rapids in the tides of life there would never be a crescendo. Without such passion, love, and hate there would never be a second song and all there would be to listen to is elevator music. That would be boring.
