I want to be the bone in you, the bone
that fills your flesh, the bone that stands
you on your legs and moves within your hands.
I want to be the bone in you, the stone-
carved architecture skeleton that’s sewn
within your skin, the framework that expands—
from earth to sky, from foot to head— that lands
your sole on solid ground, the bones that groan
and crack and pop with movement, yelling, You’re
alive! I want to be the bone in you.
I want to be supportive, sweet and purely
present— always— integrated through
your meat and mingled in your mind as sure
as memories: I want to love you too.
I want to be the bone in you
I want to be the bone in you

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
Re: I want to be the bone in you
if we have one friend/ lover in our life that has the desire you illustrate, we are damn lucky.....a beautiful description of putting yourself aside to give it all you got......this is the other side of I've got a bone to pick with you.....ha
