I don't recollect them, but I may have seen them around.

I like to picture the two of us in a restaurant or small one..
diner sized. There'd be the salt and pepper in glass shakers.

Maybes we'd have intellectual conversation, if I had a coffee
that might clear away the fuzz inside my brain. You know I'm light-weight little fool
with opinions that I never know where they spring from
other than memories.

But, you'd be gruff with me, you'd say to me in French or Italian "Dame, stop playing with the salt, put it on your food if you want it. Keep your elbows off the table and I like the interesting thing you're doing with the way you crossed your legs."

I'd bat my lash, proceed to play coy or darling.
I might tell you the salt could be from some pirate's island in the center of the Bermuda Triangle and we'd discuss a black and white movie or you could play poker with a deck of cards at the side and teach me how to hide my thoughts from showing on my face.

I'd be happy.

Later: is always such a blur, how it happened I knever knew, never quite aware of how she wove that web of excitement about me.

I like Van Norden but I do not share his opinion of himself. I do not agree, for instance. that he is a philosopher or a thinker. He is cunt struck, that's all. He will never be a writer"

At one-thirty I called on Van Norden, as per agreement. He had warned me that if he didn't answer it would mean that he was sleeping with someone, probably his Georgia cunt.

Anyway, there he was, tucked away comfortably, but with an air of weariness as usual. He wakes up cursing himself, or cursing the job, or cursing life. He wakes up utterly bored and discomfited, chagrined to think that he did not die overnight.

...I'd like to find some rich cunt--like that cute little prick, Carl. Did he ever show you the letters she sends him? Who is she, do you know? He wouldn't tell me her name, the bastard...he's afraid I might take her away from him. (Van Norden)"

Not the best time to go vegetarian
when falling in love. O.K. that was a silly thing to say from me
but I'm laughing too much over picturing their mouths and bellies. :P

Let's have meat.

Spiders in my dreams, Jack.
You don't think I'm spiderwoman do you?
She'd scare me.

It's us having a tea in the middle
of the railroad tracks.
Risky.

Yes, we risk the enjoyment of getting off,
getting full, just like those eccentric couples Henry and June...Anais
and here we are listening to the train hollering.

It's gonna run us over just when we're happiest.
Gotta believe a thing like that
cause I'm insisting on happiness,
things had been so drab. :P

P.S. I'll take a fine mess.
Trains are big monsters. Here it yelling in the distance.
It says small towns, take it easy until I get there,
gonna roll right over and you won't feel a thing.

Spider bites and fast trains.

... “I do not wish to be happy at present, just to be aware.” Camus
.

Started with Crazy Mike and Freud. This looking for answers, ...
I was happy in that picture.
Happiness
I have heard it said that we knowers are happiest when we can bring a bit of honey wisdom back to the hive.

Puppy love is such sweet misery
true love comes to a few
yes the saddest words are it could have been

Funny she fell in love with Henry
when she was trying to screw June.

Who's driving this baby?
I can't drive.

And then I wasn't looking
I think I went off into the ocean, Jack
a big blue ocean.

He could have said he loved her a billion times
and she'd not once believed him.

Cat could have never said to her he loved her,
but it's funny how love is.

that horse is all black with a white tail and a white spot on his head, and white socks on his feet. He makes walking looking he is dancing, just floats across my window.

repression
is tricky
it will derail a train of thought faster than a speeding bullet
wisdom, honey, awareness
happy childhoods
wishes all come true
true love
ten feet tall on the street where you live
do you remember the first time you fell in love
they called it puppy love

I fell in love with a woman of studio eight once
it was such a mopey dopey feeling made me feel like a virgin again

I needed that feeling
she hardly comes around anymore
I wanted to remember my youth
well she is a Christian
so I supppose there is hope for me

Well I use that word a lot,
love this love t hat

I hardly know what the word means to me anymore

Right now I can say I love Henry Miller

"...the same fundamental urge to slay, to ravage to plunder. Outwardly they seem like a fine upstanding people—healthy, optimistic, courageous. Inwardly they are filled with worms. A tiny spark and they blow up"

My mother and your grandmother of the same generation I think. Sometimes I think about Sylvia Plath's mother and My mother as being of the same generation.

repression
you kick it in the ass for me
thanks

if only she had not been so ambitious

Did you know I got stung by a hornet?

What an appetite you've mustered up.
I'm at the table with a feast
and my mouth is all strawberry, honey,
steak cut straight down the middle.

Takes a truck to feed a ten foot doll.
I think he's a hunting man,
prolly goes fishing too.

What a trip the pair when they dine out
with a circus going merrily on behind
their acts and beasts
and a waitress with her hand out.

Prolly she thinks he has a horse
and she's into breeding or sumpin' funny,
but I watch where she lays up that hand

in-case I need to turn on my cat lives,
the ghost of it. :P

thanks dame
repression is a bitch construct for me
something happened a sense of dread like the return of a childhood fear and my mind started wandering worse than usual and a line came to me from a distant conciousnes
from a plath poem called mad girl's love song

I think I made you up inside my head
beback when I can let flow as first thoughts

I liked this bit alot, reads like like Kerouac

Karl Shapiro introduction TOC
Joy is like a river [says miller] ,it flows ceaselessly. It seems to me that this is the message which the clown is trying to convey to us, that we shold not stop to reflect, compare, analyze, posses, but flow on and through endlessly, like music. Theis is the gift of surrender, and the clownmakes it sy mbollically. It is for us to make it real
Henry Miller could let his mind drift so blind never worried what he was going to find never feared falling off the edge of his mind 8)

repression trying to break on through to the other side

Normally my vacations have me spiraling out of control,
but I didn't even notice a hint of loneliness on this one,
you kept me. A little light on, a vigil.
Reading camus.

You'll seem young even at seventy to me,
when we're young hearted.
