terms

Post by the mingo » May 13th, 2011, 12:39 pm

crabgrass in the sand
holds great significance for the writer.
great hold great tight of a road that begins
in your bowels and reaches all the way
to the heart - you know what i'm sayin'
I could watch you pound butter too and
the look on your face as you did it
no one knows how many hats you have in your closet
but i'm sure you could provide one for every dead officer
of the Seventh Cavalry or any of your other lovers
i like the noises you make when you read your stuff
in that youtube vid and even though your voice is low
i could hear it clear over & under & through
all the yelling & screaming indians in that valley
'til not a whiteman was on his feet
only a white babe like you could write that
even though it's true that the crabgrass
will dictate the terms
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

mingo, you have such a light approach and playful nature to your writing,
it's so refreshing and feel great, feel fun, being with the words you choose.
Loving it. From painting to writing poets, to writing poetries.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!

you may end up where you are heading
