the most telling detail of your two dreams and it kept coming up to me while at work tonight is that only some of your hair was affected by the wind there.

I'm having a really difficult time knowing what things mean, mingo.
It's a lot of pieces and sections and maybees I'm at drowning.

The only meaning that things have taught me is that all things are fleeting. Sounds trite but it's true. There is only one thing that does not pass here and that's between me & God. Anyways, no need for you to drown.
Heading out for a paddle this afternoon, kayaks & fig newtons. Down the creek and to the lake. Lunch on the shore and home again. Catch you later, Doll.

Thank you, mingo. That means a lot.
It gets to be challenging
and I appreciate the soft tones and subtlety.
I'm not nearly as alone as I've the sadness to believe. It has much to do with a sorrow in this chapter I'm reading, it penetrated, then relating the character to my girl self and it begins to shape me a little on the wheel.
She went yellow in the mud. "Let them go." he said
that was her boat.
Yes, and it's o.k. I don't even know what God has planned.
You're right in that I don't want to trifle with it. If I get to singing
I might muss it ups.
I don't want to go unchanged. Hmm I wanna shape up...
her cheeks got pink, on the side she fought with, then on the side she turned to face it. It is just earth.
Easy when you help me look the other direction.

The day it's eerily quiet out on the waters.

Had last night's dream of waking children up on a sunny morning.
Not sure the setting, seemed like school or summer camp with a lot of dorms or rooms. My friend and I would go to each room and sing song to each child to wake their sleepy heads. I remember the sun beaming in their windows and filling their waking faces.

The mood it jolted to life this a.m. was it transported me back to a time when my innings was gloomy and no wins. Then it transported me to the here and now when their light shines brightly cause my innings is getting golden.
It was relief that I might be changing.

was just takin' in the gleanings from your writings - ain't had a chance the last couple of days to be here... had a good day on the water yesterday a six mile through the cattails down to the lake and back rounder. sandwiches & figs & cheese & cantaloupe on the beach. we got back to the launch point and even a bit tired & sore from being in the boats so long we didn't want to give it up just yet so we took the creek inland to see whatever. Doll, let me tell ya that creek just kept splitting & splitting and we followed it this way and that into smaller & smaller places no other watercraft than a kayak could have gotten us all up in there like that. had to call the quits on it though it was gettin' on dark. Even if the only thing you bag is existential prey the natives don't call them hunter's boats for nothing. words and images kept weaving themselves all through my passin' thoughts this morning when i put a few lines down before this day got rollin'and damn i don't know why this is double spaced. anyways i got a couple of writings well one actually, the other has not finished with itself yet i don't think & i was gonna post it up in poetry but changed my mind gonna put it here.
thunderstorms passing the night sometimes you just gotta
get a mad on to do this shit so I agree with the storms
especially their passing and now it's a sunstorm out there
i got the blind down just so I can see the screen on my machine
ever see a snake go completely still he thinks he's invisible when
he does that fancy shit
he was born for it in
cut from the cloth as they say
from one line to the next
ya get them all nailed down tight
and then ya come to the last line
you follow the creek up until the deadfall
and the overhanging branches get so thick
you can't make any more forward progress
much less have room to swing your paddle
so turn around and back down the way ya came in
last lines ... it will get to bothering the heart some days
& some days i just don't get how it all works together
so smooth & seamless no matter what
and i just don't get it
so are ya still gettin golden? sometimes your words get all these images rising in my head & others in my soul and i end up with the devil's own time at dealin' ya know? it must be how it needs to be with the children all wakin' up in the light.

Well, ya know you reminded me of the forest when ya get to the cool side and everything is a wonderful temperature, it even smells like rich earth.
A few times today on the road it got hot, but then I was more appreciative of those moments winding down around the mountain forests, putting my head close to the open window and just breathing it all in as I went by. I feel safe driving in the mountains like that, the world is much like your water ways closing ya in and finding all the nooks and crannies that stay a bit hidden.
What riches, we're being rich.
Sweet dreams, u.
Thank you for the poetry.

yeah, riches. A man can never have enough riches. You're right about the mountain roads - being like creeks & streams that is. I gotta go & try to clean up some old brake rotors. Since living by my paintings ain't kicked in yet poverty persuades me to such measures to try to pass the inspection coming up on the Cherokee the end of June. I've discovered that you can't assume brake pads to last a year on a Cherokee. 8 months tops. I love my Jeep. Later, Doll.
And I still ain't discovered why my posts are double-spaced. Any ideas on that ? I need a button to push to make everything alright.

Mine is double spacing too, I don't know why that is.
We're just flowing with it, I s'pose.
The postcards are being saved, I likes.
Did you name your jeep?

Thx on the double spacing, feel better knowing it's not just me.
And how did you know I'd named my Jeep?
Her name is Vera. Named my kayak too. Her name is Rita.
Vera is cool.
Rita is hot.

Vera is cool.
Rita is hot.

You have written me 'bout showing me things of yourself. You speak of revealing and revelations. Today you get a revelation of my own. Goin' to show you one of my treasures.
What you see in the painting below are some of what I've always called my "little guys". They have been in my head for years but I know for a fact that they came originally from out my heart. Ya know, years ago when I saw Indian petroglyphs scratched into a rock in the northern deserts of Arizona I was knocked out by the sight. The sun was just goin' down when I came around a bend in the trail there and the slanting rays of the setting sun lit up that rock face so even a blind man wouldn't miss it and I stood there transfixed. Whatever meanings those petroglyphs & pictograms had for the old Indians didn't matter to me and whatever meanings scientists & researchers gave to them didn't matter to me either. Because I knew. I knew that what was there on that rock were 'little guys" & it didn't matter if they were five inches or ten feet tall, they were "little guys".
A few of them ganged up on me this morning & said, "Show us to Annie B."
And there it is. Yeah, that.
