Re: Dream
I don't know that you've ever offended me.
One time I got scared you'd not ride around in the car with me cause I love Jesus and thought you'd wait to ride around with some other sweetheart instead. But, you were just fine with my being just fine to be with a Jesus heart and I heart ya for it.
Funny about the breasts. I started sleeping with a bra always keeping my girls through a night since I was seventeen cause I think I read in seventeen magazine it'd help to slow the process of letting the girls fall down. I pretty much live twenty-four hours snug.
Intimacy.
I hope I'll go gentle into aging.

You don't haves-to, besides...
I'm not easy to love.
Gonna get some sleeps. Starting to read Moby Dick, but I got the complicated edition with a lot of chit chat about the book and urgh.

Re: Dream
The last game of cards I played was Shang Hi.
I didn't quite win, I was close, but I won that last hand by throwing it all out there to the table and shocking them. They said, "I thought you didn't know how to play."
I always play cards like this, "Can I do this..."

Re: Dream
I just woke up from a bad dream about work. I lost my part time job. It did not pay much but it was good for small luxuries, like the occasional book purchase. It kills me that I can not afford to buy another one of Clay's books for example. So when I got up from my dream I called work and practically begged for my job back. Something I been thinking about doing for weeks, the dream was the impetus to overcome my inertia.

Re: Dream
Thinking about my dream of Bombay. Thinking about the sad dreams of my mother.
Waking up depressed because it was only a dream and I was never going to see her under this sun again. Then years later dreamed of her again and woke up refreshed, untroubled by thoughts of death.
I missed this show tonight damn it.

Getting old ain't so bad for a man, we are so much more vain than women we don't mind. We still look in the mirror and think we still look young.

ibidPATRICK MCNAMARA (Boston University): Why would Mother Nature highly activate your brain, paralyze your body, sexually activate you and force you to watch these things we call dreams? Why? Why would Mother Nature do that?

When we go into their world,
it's heavy and then we sleep, sometimes sleep for a long whiles afterward.

Woke up from a dream just today. I was playing poker and one fellow was cheating. I was sitting across from him at the table and saw him slip and ace into his shirt pocket. After the hand was over it seemed like I morphed into the cheater. I threw my winning hand of four kings on the table and left the money because I was so disgusted with myself for cheating. The guy who I had cheated looked a lot like a guy who used to try and provoke me into a fight and he was at me trying to provoke me into a fight. I was eying a steak knife on the table and trying to tell the guy I could not fight him, that he shoudl just take the money and leave me alone. I tried to explain that the only way I could fight him was to kill him or be killed
I think the cheater might have been my father. But in the end he became me..

Re: Dream
I remember the dream about my mother, I woke in the dream and thought how can be I with you, you are dead. And she said to me, "it is okay, it does not matter." Then I woke up for to this world again and felt pretty good.
I never dream about my father, maybe once. But I have come to compassion for him. My sister I think has at least let the bad memories go.
I had a dream about my little sister
Thinking about an old folk song

O hard is the fortune of all womankind
They're always controlled, always confined
Controlled by their parents until they are wives
Then slaves to their husbands for the rest of their lives.

Maybe some nights during dream
it can be just like a window left open
and without thought we can just naturally walk through it...
nothing very different from side or side.
