We are turned on the lathe of heaven. And as Chuang Tse said, it is not by our own learning or working or reasoning that we are formed into the people of God. It is by the relentless working of the Spirit, the love that will not let us go.

my dead dread was in fact
a stubborn refusal to be programmed
to be a Unmediated Man?

The last semester of my twelve year college career as a sophomore I shared an apartment U of MD with two seniors in the psych department honors program in. Their holy grail was to be a Unmediated Man.

she was my last one maybe I was in a panic to get back to pumpkin center jimbo, when you said "bad idea" it was a smack, what do you call those things an "idee fixee" french term for insanity, Gogol's diary of a madman, she was smart, I could talk to her, I would probably be hitching my way to pumpkin center now if not for that smack, but what have you done for me lately. :)

An artist can walk in both worlds, a trucker has to grab reality by the eyeballs. I have practiced holding on to my sanity so long, I dread letting it go; so I can follow the narrative of rose and her daughter and aureilia and her daughter, paralell lines in time.

I remember when they seprated but I never thought it had anything to do with my sister. She was a weird kid my baby sister, her mother the product of a victorian culture, and her daughter reading Our Bodies Ourselves.
We used sit around and get high together at that big grave yard way out on Park Heights ave extended, the one with the big statue of the Black Angel of so many teen age superstitions.

When we would get in an arguement my sister and my self, furniture would fly.

Dream time, I suppose mescaline is sort of like that, cause she remembered what happened that day. The day before our parents seperated.

Just who are you anyway? You who trample beneath your bare, naked feet the scattered debris of the Rose of

Marble the Rose of Glass the Coal Rose the Rose of Pink Blotting-Paper the Rose of the Clouds and the

Wooden Rose and the Rose of Iron.
Desnos

I feel like a game of dominos this jam here, I felt as if yu played a five and I put down a five, went off on an unrelated tangent, but now I see I can't, a jam is dream time, I should tell this if it might help you understand my limitations, i have a pretty fuzzy idea what a jam is in music,

"jack daniels on the left miller on the right"

My budget don't include no booze this week.

a bloody mary was working fine last week, but alas I drank it.

Thinking of moon water, the kind they make in the virginia valley where bennie and buddhist punk have so many relatives this hillbilly would use what ever was available, a lot of time it was peaches, a clear white liquid that drives away nightmares.

have another submit, I got a dedicated driver.

sleepinzzzzz

, I still been posting a lot but trying to stay focused the bit about the cemetary was a revelation, i realized that one of things that kept rose and her daughter apart on the day she died was the daughter's belief that her mother did nothing about it, kind of shrugged it off. but that was all a snippett I suppose,

happy trails amigo until the next time we meet.

Oh man I don't know nothing about Hegel, no idea that idea of the unmediated man came from him.

just a case of me throwing words around, but programing not the word I had in mind for the lathe of heaven, programing..............

programing

as in brain washed?

christ I know i am brain washed taking me sixty four years to get the shit out of my eyes, and gary snyder is in his seventies and his eyes are younger than mine, leonard cohen too, I think.

bad old men, and meanwhile I still got that goddam tingling in my little finger.
