the longest distance is between the head an the heart

i sat transfixed
rainbows coming in the window
turtles in the sky
took me on a journey
no i was not high

many days and night
lost a few fights
took me to the sea
where once again
learned to be free

all the dance
the prayer
made me a dragon slayer
there is nowhere to hide
i confide
going inside like a turtle
floating on the water
salt in my eyes
wanted somehow to learn how to fly

at the tree
my hopes flamed up
there was no other way
to be connected to the heart
then to allow the mind
to heal... and make a new start
this heart carries many hearts
this is why we do this part
