crows working the edge of the road
sun has cleared the horizon
everything's a go
Mornin' Doll. I'm not awake yet. Already been to town and back droppin' Nancy off to work. Now I'm waitin' for the coffee to kick in. There are two John Deere tractors sitttin' in the middle of my brain, funny, don't even own a farm. Piece of Scripture floatin' around the ol' brainhouse too - "break up your unplowed ground" - think it's from one of the Prophets down OL' Testament way. Was lookin' for an old song yesterday out on the 'net and found more than I bargained for - whole bunch of music from the 60's - ended up wallowing around in nostalgia there for awhile. Was lookin' for "Green Tambourine" by the Lemon Pipers which of course led to a whole bunch of zombie heaven puckey.
To everything there is a season ... hey mister tambourine man ... omg ... whew! ... I been thinkin' over some things from our conversation the other day like when you said your daughter likes to be in the middle of things on stage like that and you are more in your imagination more in your head ... I know about things like that being more in imagination myself most of the time, probably more than the time I've spent in the world. Sure, sometimes I fought reality with dream, but there isn't the need for all that fuss, ya know? And sure now I'm running off at the mouth ... wiped out a hornet's nest yesterday in a daring just-after-dawn raid - a lightning strike, got them all pretty sure...I'm so brutal sometimes.

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
