rockin' the old

Post by the mingo » September 14th, 2011, 11:44 am

she rocked the surface
made the ground more solid
the grass more green
the sky higher
years & years ago
when some of the roads around here
were still hard packed gravel
and the river's songs
were not as old
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Sweet
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
