HAZMAT Vat69

Post by patrick traveler » September 21st, 2011, 3:08 am

My ex-wife’s sister’s boyfriend’s foster-dad
is a Stanford, Berkeley, Duke and Princeton grad;
a skillful lawyer, teacher, preacher, pastry chef
who is anemic, ectomorphic, impotent and deaf,
and when he teaches, preaches, or sues for contract breaches
he serves Tiramisu topped with heaps of rum-soaked peaches
to hold his listeners captive for his dreary monologues,
and make them snap or clap or nap in alcoholic fogs.

My x was a chef. You traveled well all over one of my favourite cakes, Patrick. The other is an anise seed cake my mom baked for my birthday when she was alive. Haven't had that for a long long time.

Cool poem. But do you dance? You gots the rhythm, you gots the beat.

...written like glass, smooth and broad, black on the back, showing me me again.
