she intrudes spiritually all the way from fiji
tries to latch on to what is considered my gift
she is alone and fat and living with out a man
talking to me about all sorts of desires and love
makes me feel like wearing gloves in a smoking bar
with dancers and bodies looking so fine in that light
but nothing ever happens we just fight
all the sexual desires i had
just turned out to make me sad
the lady in fiji
wants something more
than anything she adores
the man she loved took another
left her with a nasty brother
she works the land
has no money
no children
the wealth of a woman is her love
without love
we die inside
in fiji hawaii california italy nigeria australia thailand nepal
we live for love
there is no hide away
for love
it will find you
from the skies above
the hide away

the hide away
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
Re: the hide away
it would seem through our differences ...favorite food, favorite color.....at the core we all want the same thing......to love....and to Be loved.......the poem has a folksy wisdom....an island lore to it.......
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
you may end up where you are heading

Fiji always reminds me of a perfume I used to wear, and the early days

Your poem would sound good in spoken-word.
