that mouse

Post by the mingo » October 25th, 2011, 1:22 pm

that mouse up in my attic
i've never seen him
but when he moves around up there
you'd swear he was about
the size of a Frankenstein

HaH ! Yeah, 1 of these days I'll be goin' up there with a shotgun, bandoleers crisscrossing my chest, a bowie knife at my hip and the Book of Job in my back pocket. It's easy if ya know how, still, not something ya do unless ya have to - if I find Amy Winehouse's ghost livin up there with him the mouse dies quick and I might never be seen again in the land of the living. After all, if Sookie Stackhouse can have sex with dead guys & a hit drama series what the hell . . . besides it's almost Halloween 8)

get an eagle?
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

an eagle ? r u kiddin' me, woman? You ever seen one of these birds leave a shit in midair ? OMG OMG ! I've seen it. Was out in the yard with Nancy when this huge shadow attracts our attention so we look up, in awe & stupefied wonder O LOOK IT'S AN EAGLE ! He came in on a strafing run just above the treetops and O isn't he just gorgeous he's beautiful a spiritual manifestation of the Creator, a pure unsullied vision, by God!
It was then that he opened up, I mean you could hear the SQUIRT he made and about two and a half pounds of liquid eagle manure ejected into the air above our heads out of his holy avian asshole. I was running for the trees with Nancy right behind me and I stood there listening to the sound of all that swirling strung out eagle shit hitting the trees and the ground for yards along that bird's flight path. I was unscathed but Nancy was not as lucky. I lost every bit of romance about eagles that day. I mean all. It causes me no end of amusement that my nation chose this creature as its national symbol - it explains a lot. And I, Mingo, born to the Oneida, born to the Wolf Clan,no longer give my prayers to the eagle to carry to the Creator for fear that he would deliver them into the Creator's lap along with two and a half pounds of liquidized eagle shit to top them all off.
Yet...yet I cannot deny that the eagle gave me a vision that day of his visitation...without the use of words that eagle showed me that if I was not rightly handling and dividing the word of truth then I was dealing in shit.

I have been true to that vision ever since.
