THE OLD ATTIC.

Post by dadio » November 8th, 2011, 5:20 pm

There‘s a good view from here in
The attic where years before two
Maids used to sleep and have their
Few hours from drudge and work
Maybe looking out at this self same
Scene with the drive leading off to
The main road some quarter mile
From the house and probably they
Stood here feeling their bones and
Muscles ache feel call of bed and want
Of sleep but you stand and view with
Untired and unfettered bones and flesh
Able to come and go as you please but
You imagine the two maids taking just
A quick peep out at the view with moon
And stars in darkened sky then undressing
Fast as their tiredness allowed they crept
Into bed and snuggled close to warm and
Forget the passing day and welcome night
Where they could hug whisper and softly
Snigger out reach of master’s ears and sight.
