to what?

Post by the mingo » November 21st, 2011, 2:45 pm

lone wolf holy warrior offered throne in game
doctors revolt as american music gossips over the myths of gasoline taxes
tech turkeys surrender dreams as non-representative of cracks in the sun
peppermint girls & incense boys live as cave art declarations
o the highway is super with tall curves whose toes are sand
manifestations of aspect make up the fabric of reality
but reality itself goes unseen
the rooms are chilly and the branches outside are bare
changes may come but the curse never goes away
everything in the body is connected to the brain
and it sits up there in it's house of bone looking out its windows at the world
no one wants to guess what the brain is connected to
way back when everybody bought food for the lizard
but then the lizard died and everybody wonders
if they should buy another lizard for all the food ...
it was once sung get back jojo
get back to what?
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

brain reminisces
oh the good old days when curses were kings
and lizards slithered in spotlights
all day all you can eat
applause and appreciation

enjoyed your poem very much steve
food for thought
thank you

on a personal note
ah if my brain knew
is believing a blessing or a curse
back to the present, back to the now,
back to experience, but who has time enough for that?
