Subliminal shadow.

Post by Doreen Peri » November 23rd, 2011, 2:52 pm

.
i'm just a dim light
on the back-lit promotion show ,
a veritable glow, a halo cast from
some supercharged observant machine,
some mean in-between temporary remedy
to space and time violently crucified by itself
hanging upside down from a parallel universe cross,
the cost of all of it, blood letting.

You are blessed and I,
only an observer, cast myself
like a subliminal shadow from afar.
I am no star.

on a personal note

Contradictions multiply
It is all a blur
Going so fast I can’t keep up
I cast so many shadows
I hardly know where I stand

Thank you all very much!

If I've written poetry that's gibberish and meaningless and every reader reads something different into it, then I've done my job correctly.

Just one question.. does it sound like music when you read it aloud?

IF it sounds like music and is meaningless, too, and all readers get something different from it, I can die peacefully.

Thanks for letting me know. Amen.

you can reast in peace
sounded just like music to me
struck a cosmic chord for me very cool, you could call it skat or rap I don't know but it sounded jazzy to me
I am an idiot when it comes to music, all I know is one sentence from old Nitz.

a shadow with a halo, like music to my eyes, touching here and there. With each read, I can hear a fresh tune, imagination triggered subliminally.
