but patterns in the wind of rivers through plains, deserts,
in the geometry of furniture
the claw and ball
the finial
and patterns in poems

and the pentameter
or the patterns in oils
the triangle of Mary, Christ, John the Baptist
the recurring refrains of a popular song
or the motifs in Wagner
the patterns of thought
the myths
God, Man, Beast
the crescents
the fleur de lis
the Irish headstones

tis true....there is a poetic symmetry in all of this, a lyrical geometry as well....
you speak of the visual connections from eye to brain to sub consciousness....really really liked "the zigzag of tears".....good stuff danno !
