concussions, fools,schools
all taught me
that nothing i thought had any value
ever did
towels-bedding, wedding dresses
rings,long trips-flowers
showers.tears.fears.
trust is all busted up
no highway is too long
songs unsung get stuck in your throat
women need loving
all those commitments
dreams hopes
i gave them up
for what i consider a better life
smoothies acai berries, peppermint tea
all became a larger part of me
whatever made you want
me like that?
truth is- i am no good at it
