moon

the tatoo parlor run by moon back then was tattered with names and famous tats and bikes- in the island world there was a hidden population- bob marleys birthday and all-the old hawaiian man had been canoeing these shores for many years- he saw her coming- he wanted her to paddle for his club- she didnt fool anyone here- that idea of women being docile and feeble never did anything for a man like that.in places like this- it could happen- that you might be called out and spoken to- if you didnt know the ways of island life-like the tourista that rents a red mustang- here where weed smells like pineapple and men are brown and strong- here where the salt and the sea-weld themselves to various cultures-the young ones pull up and want a tatoo with their girlfriends- the woman is all roses and flowers and butterflies- he is for a tribal pattern-the man looks them over-he makes an appt for tommorow
the gray haired biker laid out in the chair looks real tough- but she knew him.you cannot live here and not see the same people for 25 years and not notice the faces- paint seemed to peel rather quickly. young girls sit on the beach and want to be angelina jolie- they take as much drugs as they can and look pretty sick- but they are thin-and probably down for a lil more shit.the movie stars roll in and out-today the river was not sure if it was going to flood-
tourists look disapionted when they get rained on-
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

the flooding of these memories are much like being tickled by an annoying cousin- but it helps you write----
