oh, yeah, it´s really easy somehow to think that of her, you haven´t invented that, sorry! ... but I think the reclamo against the possible? increasing of the militarization of the South Atlantic is valid and worth to listen to. Today Siria, tomorrow rare ONGs in Egypt, next day Venezuela, some decades ago... (well, too much to narrate...!) , yeah you never know ...

an interesting article "Returning to Malvinas" written by someone who lives in Australia and at least had read Borges ... it sounds at some point a bit remote to my taste but I think that it addressess very well a sort of mirror-like-re-covering-of-internal-conflict aspects between Argentina and Great Britain then and now. See:

http://www.counterpunch.org/2012/02/08/ ... -malvinas/

he/she? called Malvinas the most non-sense war of the XX siglo or something like that, I never thought in making a mental ranking for that...!

It was a good article I thourghly enjoyed reading it. Too remote? I guess it was objective, or at least it sounded so to me. Wars can't be trusted to bald men in uniform :)

s-t: Wars can't be trusted to bald men in uniform ... yeah, I guess it´s not "buena prensa" as we use to say here ... !

mingo: gracias to you for writing the poem! :)

talking about men in uniform it seems this one despite the years passed still has some hair... damn! :? Reading him you doubt for a moment if you are listening to some ignote fervorous democracy worker or what ... then all it´s clear: it was a war and he was (among some significant others) in the right side so ..., end of the problem (at least in his theory) ... it sounds easy! . It makes me wonder about the destiny of hipersimplification roads in a complex era ... (or viceversa!)

what the "enemy" says about...: (always interesting at some point to read it) also good to know about the motives why he has declared guilty by the human Justice until now ...

"The Church did his duty, was prudent"

Spooky stuff
the translation was very choppy hard to get the drift, and I don't who the Kirchner government was.

A lot of talk about Marxism that surprised me, I did not know there are right wing marxists :?

I am preoccupied with fascists these days. Feels like Italy in the twenties here in the twenty first. Would right wing Marxist. be anything like a middle of the road fascist?

I been so fatalistic lately, Obama is the best we can do, everyone other candidate for "president of the free world" seems like a crypto-fascist-christian zionist-zombie to me.

I used to work with someone from Argentina, smart guy, a good guy, but I think he thought we were such innocents about politics and colonialism and revolution. He would smile and shake his head at my ?uninformed subjectivity.

This was in the sixties, not sure which side he was on, I mean he said he could not go home, so maybe he was an enemy of the Kirchner government...

yeah, I know... "who´s who" can be so tricky here, specially after Juan Domingo Perón... :?
I been so fatalistic lately, Obama is the best we can do, everyone other candidate for "president of the free world" seems like a crypto-fascist-christian zionist-zombie to me. ... complex definition, s-t ...... last week Fidel talked about nowadays USA republican candidatos as "infumables" (non-smokable ones). I don´t know..., from here Obama also feels "infumable" to me... but what I know!, I don´t use to smoke, anyway...

During the last weeks pagina12 (now oficialist newspaper, as we all already know) published articles about the minería in an amazing acrobatic way to not involucrar the government in a negative view ... I have to say that after the brutal reppresion to the manifestantes, the bizarre-faked dialogue on tv between the president and a supuesto random "dirigente minero", and the uncertainty about the possible antiterrorist law echoes from the last days of the last year, they must have to do an effort in order to write them... Today, at least a more equilibrated article appeared among the others:

Markaris, Angelopoulus & Greece ( I didn´t know that Angelopoulus had died a month ago... ):

"Negociar Malvinas" ("To negotiate Malvinas")... after reading this article I wonder (on both sides) who is really willing to do that... I wish them luck...!

being in a four-day Teatro del Oprimido taller. It reminded me I do theatre each day... Loved the games, the different languages developed (music, plastic, dance, words), and the amazing and sometimes surprising resonance between stories, scenes and situations. Also the fact of not using verbal language in a lot of excercises. It was somehow exausting for everyone -mostly at phisical and emotional level- but an amazing and revealing experience! It was one of the more beautiful collective-creation-processes I´ve been in. :D

I admire his & Pink Floyd work very much, and I guess he´s being sincere!. :) But I can´t avoid image what would happen if his thoughts about Malvinas were different at this moment ...

Listening to our president at the moment: she literally asked the teachers in Santa Fe to not do strikes ... amazing, really! : it seems the teachers in strike are in the list of the most troublesome in the last of her two last speeches (among the British Government, the train-empresarios and part of the "Justice" & the "media".... damn! ), so we must be a serious case ... I´ll keep listening, though!.

the words of the president made me really angry ... she said the teacher works only four hours and have three months of vacations ... so we have no right to do strikes ... she said that in the Senate opening speech to all the argentinians and in front of legislators that a week ago had duplicated their salary and earns now more than ten times a teacher´s salary... So, I (and a lot of education workers) must be very stupid serving food to the students half an hour a day in some schools without nobody paying you for that, and doing planifications and corrections and didactic material for the students each day at home and a lot of other things... and of course not having in fact three months of vacations even tough according with the laboral conditions it would be a great idea...

She chose as emblema to disciplinar and hit a gremio mostly composed by women and to workers than nowadays are the most important state representation for vast sectors (with the contradictions and difficulties that carries that...)... surprisingly one of the gremios with lowest salaries... I think she was very stupid, reactionary, cruel and ignorant doing that, really. And she is a woman, wich makes it more unbeareable ... (despite her tears and her statements about "I know what dead is".... damn! what you think we are made of???).
Well, if each pueblo have the governante that deserves, it seems we have a lot to learn yet!!!!!! maybe we have to be grateful to her (and the ones before) for being such wonderful shadow-mirrors!!!!!!!! :?

& in a country with teachers in strike, Roger met the boss!!!!!!!! (let´s laugh!)
