Yesterday was the Día de la Memoria marcha, I participated like all the years but I remained during the central acto not in the Flag Memorial but in the Plaza 25 de Mayo where different associations read an alternative text.

I´m a bit tired of the actual prepotencia and reality negation of the actual government so this time, I felt comfortable and less numb there ...

old-new History links ... it´s a bit thrilling to know that since the last year we have a "Ley antiterrorista" here in the hands of a who? ...:

newspapers full of Malvinas´s news? here... yesterday the teachers were gave a little book with the title " Malvinas: educación y memoria" to work in the schools ... we already been talking about it... one of the seventh grade students asked me if "The marcha de las Malvinas" was made before or after the war... "it´s odd, it´s a sort of happy-music" he said... I told him that we were obliged to sing it for more than two months when I was at Highschool and the war was on , that I particularly hated it and that I didn´t knew exactly when it was composed or by who, but that his was a great question ... we´ve been listening to "Yo soy Juan" and "El ángel de la bicicleta" in the last weeks and making and painting bicicletas esténciles this year from the hands of Fernando Traverso´s work ... and next tuesday I´ll bring for listening the old Gieco song , at least I like it ...!

Today I read a Trycicle mail, interesting old interview to the eldest son of Chögyam Trungpa (I don´t remember his name yet, it was enough difficult to learn to write his father´s one  ). Specially enjoyed the beautiful dialogue that the last poem opens, here´s the link:

Lito Nebbia with other (more younger) musicians like Los Vándalos and Cielo Razzo, will perform in the vigilia at the Flag Memorial today, surely he will sing this old one... :) :

Thank you I enjoyed reading that.

FYI

From today's washingtonpostdotcom
Probably nothing you did not know

Argentina on new campaign to win Falklands, 30 years after war

In Argentina’s latest gambit, Foreign Minister Hector Timerman informed the London and New York stock markets that oil exploration companies in the Falkland Islands could risk civil and criminal penalties for operating “illegally,” as he put it. “I think they have to realize that the Empire is dead,” he said in an interview last year. “And at some point, they will have to accept to negotiate with us.”

Thirty years after Argentina’s failed invasion of the Falkland Islands, President Cristina Fernandez is ratcheting up pressure by trying to isolate the archipelago’s English-speaking inhabitants while heaping scorn on a British government that has refused to relinquish control.

oh... let´s see: failed, invasion, isolate, scorn, control ... mmmmm... beautiful set of words...! :| gracias for reading, s-t!

See also this one: it seems we are doing our own embargo ... damn, I would have studied Economy -as my father wanted- to maybe understand this   :

http://www.lacapital.com.ar/economia/El ... -0077.html

I can expect to understand a little more this one:

more ex-combatientes words:

let´s hope -each year a bit more- the word "colonia" will transmute only in a sutil- light- cheap- ephemeral perfume and not what it still is at the moment in the world, why not? :)

Anytime I see something posted about the "Falkland" islands I don't expect much objectivity.

The sun never sets on the British Empire I have heard.

I found that link about Buddhism very helpful got me started on a whole train of "unwholesome thoughts" :)

I thought this was a pretty good song nothing to do with anything, it just got me thinking about my unwholesome thoughts again

I will check out the new links later get backafter my nap

Thinking I should have put an emoticon after this
it just got me thinking about my unwholesome thoughts again
I guess this would be the best one
:?

I don't meditate, I am an ignorant child about zen
All I can say is that it appears to me as a way,
like saint jack said, I think glorious amuk has it as her tagline
"there is only one way, your way."

I don't worry much about unwholesome thoughts, although I do think I might be mildly autistic, ha isn't everyone to one degree or another.

No it is unwholesome emotions that I float above.
maybe if I meditated more I could control my thoughts, all it seems to me that I can do is not get too attached to my thoughts, lordy when thought and emotion coincide it can be tragic. I have come close to murder more times in my life that I want to say. If I would have won the billion dollar lottery last week I think I would have establish a nation wide network of zen centers for our returning combat veterans an former citizens of our penal system or maybe victims of our criminal justice systerm nothing like what happened in your country but bad enough.

sorry about the ramble

I think I might have chose too many topics today

two more articles about Malvinas ... & yeah, it´s a pity that after so much pain is basically a British military base now... in the Atlantic South ... yeah, it´s a really too visible pain in the ass plus a bleeding punch in the heart ...yeah ... and I also heard that something like an USA military base will be stablished or it´s already stablished in Chaco, near the triple frontera ... if that it´s true there is one more thing I still don´t understand or maybe I understand it too much ... & no idea what´s better, of course! :?

Clear words of the H.I.J.O.S asociation:

good questions for a thursday...!

the newspapers keep talking about Malvinas but mixed with YPF, Boudou, Rafecas and the subtes... no idea what´s happening with the petróleo here now after YPF privatization in hands of Menem government ... (a lot of years passed since that so I guess I´ll have to read the articles... )

http://www.pagina12.com.ar/diario/econo ... 04-12.html

http://www.lacapital.com.ar/economia/Es ... -0069.html

& maybe Cristina Kirchner just don´t have luck with the vicepresidents...
