call it the little big horn
as if it were a familiar small tin box
and the rhythm to be found there,
famous for surprise,
with all your dreams
and other dinosaurs
now being imagined as feathered
with colors from beyond

: in the morning
God could decide
to send the dog
to wake you before
you come to
the sea

to save you from
always looking behind you
