the end is our beginning

Post by sweetwater » June 21st, 2012, 9:21 am

the window of our beginning
facing right into the sky
and into the evening glow
of you and me and the salty sea

dancing in the waves
of being together
and of our bodies naked
in the sunlight
of a passing day

getting closer with each day we share
in closeness or distance
in absence or being together
in words or touch or smile

in the olive time of our being
and our becoming

floating in the scented breeze of
mornings, afternoons and evenings
and of all those starlight nights

wide open to each other
underneath our window of beginning

letting in all nights, all days, all ways

I don't know if the last two words of this piece, "all ways", was meant to be word play. However, if anyone asks you if it is, say, "Yes" because it's very clever as it can carry at least two different meanings.

The imagery here is vivid which makes this piece quite the turn on!

To friendship,
Michael

nice
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
