dream lost in hanalei

Post by creativesoul » July 2nd, 2012, 11:05 pm

have a word with a few
and i have
all back in the jungle= garage sales
frenz coming round with all kinds of sun
i listen sometimes to that little blonde-
'no doubt' or the portland cello project
doing led zeplin tunes
boom boxes fill the dirt road with reggae
ja-waiian
the helicopters of green harvest fly over head
they do sound different then the rescue guys or the rangers-
but the little town of hanalei has been corrupted
the poetry of my childrens lives
has been bought and sold too many time dream after dream lost
at such a cost
or just changed
the equation of tourism is another one that really just feeds us
but kills us
no doubt - i will be at the meeting-
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
