warm day

Post by the mingo » July 12th, 2012, 1:08 pm

warm day
it's the swell
of July

the grass is browning
even dreams seek the shade
but the heat doesn't
bother the Reaper

he walks here & there
& everywhere
taking as he goes
as if he had no burden

someday his work will be finished
he will retire
completely disappear
no one will miss him
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

hey hey- the rays are beautiful- thanx :!:
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

so much for pursuit of a career......jobs are good if you like to eat, but all the rest often has little to get excited about.......I guess that's why many of the younger workers can be heard singing, It's just a J O B.....

I wouldn't miss or mess with the reaper,
but I'll miss the hot spell of July, when the body swells and burns. Not looking forward to the winters.

Thank you, mingo.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!

sowing and reaping
the reaper reaps
and sower weaps
someday

no one will miss him
