TAIL FEATHERS

Post by creativesoul » June 8th, 2012, 2:50 pm

the smoke was hugging the earth
crackle of the fire= sweet smell of sage
drumming
soul cries into the night

the fans are hung on nails in the arbor
the fire drill to prepare prepare prepare
is never ending
we stand ready
her feet had sun medallions in them

she walked in a different way
those feathers spoke of lives
prayers strengths
the pieces of the souls come to play
in the spirits dance
we pray real hard
cry and smile
wishing for moisture
wakan
they say
when ya walk this way
nothing can come between you and Creator
they were not lying
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
