bagel hole love

Post by revolutionrabbit » September 22nd, 2012, 6:25 pm

the shadows get longer or something like that
that day bury the cosmic cat under the Joshua tree
jazz spelled my name all those impossible years ago
the ghost poet living in an exalted hallucination
the stars of your tropic of cancer breath
wandering between hunted used book store
and the library of haunted visions wrapped in newspaper
like a magic fish found at the black market stall
can't you see the inside of my written all over skull
so many chemical trips to other parts of the human being
what we were seeing through the blinds of border towns
on the invisible line drawn in the sand between area
forbidden and nowheresville neither here or there there
the frowns on the profound sleep deep in death valley
turns the pages on the white glow hands of the dead poet
we are alive only in hasty penned jibber jabber suicide note
the one I have been writing since the beginning of thought time
or since that first line of unrehearsed verse sliced my mind's eye
oh why do we cry at the sight of spilled blood of the poet's milk?
she came to me like a gypsy goddess dressed in universe rags
like a wispy fishy twin flame of whirling dervish bagel hole love
