Thanks for your input, Still Trucking. Glad that there are readers still out there.
Hopefully, this awful recession will continue to turn around. Until then, it is great to "see daylight at the end of the tunnel"...
DAYLIGHT Penny Haiku
By Steve Plonk
a)
There is daylight
At the end of the recession tunnel,
An old metaphor I am wont to use,
We continue to trust that
Folks will recover,
Treat their neighbors as friends
Sister or brother,
Keeping on the good foot,
Nose to the wheels...
***
b)
Time may heal our wounds,
Hopefully not wound our heels--
Time usually does a bit of both,
Hopeful that this rhyme is not uncouth,
For I begin my old age then,
I'm no longer in youth...
***
c)
It takes a village, Hillary Clinton once said,
We must all work with our hands
As well as our head...
We may preserve our grounds
We may explore the skies,
We may live as siblings
As long as we tries...
White, Black, Red, Yellow & Brown...
Let's all shake hands
Accept what's gone down...
