paths un-explored
all the lives we cannot experience
all the things we accidentally ignore
so many undreamed islands
unthought of places

so many smiles and sweet faces
to remind us and then to forget

all the places we have never been
all the places we have met

as a kiss is sweet as soft rain
as in the smile of your face to change
more yearning than on earth i have ever felt
