How about a girl with an umbrella on her head
suggesting she doesn't like to get wet,

but, she stomps in every puddle
hardly recognizing that her feet
have a mind of their own.

little mischievous darling!

Funny how her image has morphed through the years
I think I used have a secrete crush on her was I was growing up.

this is the way we while away the hours in the merry old land of Oz

stupid men are stupider than stupid girls

how does the song go
catfish john?
many fish bite if you have good bait,
you hooked yourself

I am going to sleep like a bear tonight

They will eat me right up.
Do you mean that? Well, I'm not gonna be scared of that
no mores or at least for the time being,
until there's another time.

I put up the beast of a Christmas tree, it is bigger than most of my furniture. I can't believe I still have it. Each year I say that I can't get it out of that basement and that I'll just buy a nice little tree,
but here it is up and maybe this is the last year I do it.
We will see.

I'm going to sleep like it's my wake time,
I'll razzle you there. I really do go to sleep like that a lot, where I think about it finally being that time of day when I am more awake, cause I can travel.
I might crawl into your bed like a bear.

my secrete life of sleep is interrupted these days, but I have learned to sleep fast. My head hits the pillow I am gone like Michael Jackson on propofol.

But I rarely sleep more than three or four hours at a time.

Interrupted by either piss calls or nightmares.

propofol
the most terrifying drug I have encountered so far in life.
like it slices of the top layer of your brain
and I was talking the whole time, just like I was there

brrrrrrrrrrr
it is cold out side
button up your overcoat :P

Sometimes when we write, it is like that, like we're there and mayhaps we are, it's only how unsure of it that we are. So the only real thing in those moments is not whether we are or aren't, it's that we're unsure if we are or not. :P

I made it through the rest of the work day easy, but when home and actually reading information, the words hit so much deeper than hearing a thing and then I just cried.
Words are such power houses.

I just watched that documentary on the pendle witch trial.
Taken my head into all sorts of spaces. Thank you, Jack.

I thought it was interesting. It took my head places too.

I am trying to remember what I was thinking when I posted it to you?

I will have to read back and see if I can capture the moment again. I think it might have something to do with Sandy Hook School, there have been a rash of threats it seems.

It made me cry when reading about it that night, but then I also never forget I was raised on Cain and Able, too, which is a world so dark and instead of all the dark we are trying to find the unexpected lights that flicker out in it, for they're rare.

I learned a lot when reading mingo's post about how they allow these big, unreasonable guns or with too much power, into homes and for what reason? It's not needed for defending and a whole lot of dark can happen in quick second before the gun holder could reload or rethink or let a cricket up on the shoulder.
Nothing makes sense to me these days.
I'm in a surrounding that is very unimaginable and not familiar nor would it be family friendly where we'd allow our children to play, yet we live here, too.

So when I watched that documentary up there, it made me think on my childhood religion and that I was raised Protestant, which is very much a fear based approach and added in superstitions. I was really looking at that through-out and thought it all recognizable.

Oh! I'm also not saying I agree with gun control, because I'm not saying that.
I was just meaning to say the weapons are getting more powerful these days and I didn't know such powerful weapons were sitting around in people's homes.

Also, that there is laws about whether my dog is a weapon or not.

Wait! I grew up Pentecostal, not protestant. :P
