dripping nectar

Post by creativesoul » February 16th, 2013, 1:46 pm

the sun melted all that i no longer needed
the saturation of emotional baggage was left in a parking lot
the coyotes were in the east last night

all loves and history
tasted like dreams
had me stretched out
dripping nectar on my heart

faces of those that i learned
hard lessons
inside of the meaningless
chanting and drumming
praying for a sense of satisfaction
that comes
slowly
orchids blooming
hard purples and soft whites
yellow transformative sunrise
the nails that once
held the homes of the lonely
scratched the places
that had an itch
dreams led to the tree
spirits lead the warmth to a spot
outstrecthed in the sunset
trees standing in silience
whie the kindness comes fromthe earth
hard soles on bare feet
walking in the feet of a lifetime
without shoes
bare and open
touching the eternal
watching the quiet whittle wooden birds
into whistles and chirps
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
