so fast

Post by the mingo » May 17th, 2013, 9:33 am

my america
a crossroads
a moon -

I never dreamed of living there
somebody else dreamed that
somebody sang it
somebody was the paper the notes were
scribbled down on -

it's moving so fast
nobody can keep
up with it

the train roars
every car empty

a yes but ...
& just a yes -

let the grass grow
let the painters paint
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

i love this passage to another perspective- that lives merge-
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
