that dream rolled in a cigarette with prayer
sliding down the staircase of magical nuanace
the sea calls long and loud banging sweetness
the tears came with a smile that each layer
awakened in hands that left the past
all filled with that delight
that only love can give that light
all the magic
soothed and saturated with wet exasperation
nothing tragic about love
fear came with a mask
to rob the nest of doves
that electric mystery
made some brilliant history
how that road has changed
re-arranged by age and value
the dream brings flowing family
images of many that loved us into presence
like perfume and freshly baked bread
in our pores
bubble baths and candle light
herbs and sand
