it is not totally out of the question really?= now is it ? i think perhaps that the people that do not hum- never learned how- or they forgot that it felt good while eating bacon and reality tv shows and shaklee fibre pills- they used to go to the gym, but they dont do that now- they are married- or just 'comfortable' if one more person tells me 'sex is not the important thing' looking like she has been hidden inside a couch somewhere-
no reason to gussy up anymore- oh but we love each other- been together 37 years- there is a part of me that cannot believe that anyone could be interesting after even ten years- but then again- i am a sixties child that thinks love is real- and if it isnt here - i gotta find it- somewhere else- because - it is real- this is a beautiful thing- this love- this ability to manifest beauty and to charasmaticly and filled with inspiration to shout from the roof tops- 'yes there is hope' really-
because if someone like me can return from the places i been- anyone can-
healing is great--and that is really fucking sexy- that we all get some of this good stuff- now pass it on... lol

for real- lately - after camping and more camping ahead- i am dreaming of hotel rooms and beauty spas and services and a whole lotta money=oh yes and room service-even if only for a night-if i did not need anything- i am sure i could think of something-

- two young boys witnessed a five year old girl being abducted yesterday. They followed that car on their bikes for 15 minutes. The driver of the car got nervous and let the little girl out.

Just re-discovered the bike myself - this morning took the Cherokee down and dropped it off for it's state mandated inspection. Had the bike I bought last week in the back. Took it out when I dropped the Jeep off and biked home - it's about six mile - and when I got back here to the lodge and got off the bike for the first time since I bought it my legs didn't feel like jello -
I been riding it every evening for a week - it's those long slow deceptive grades that are killers - give me a straight-up in-your-face HILL any day -

today i pay my room mate back five hundred dollars- and then i get a bike- wow- things like car payments are a part of a life i had to rescue from the hands of a lover that i left in a ditch -
i think that having a bike will fix my life- i am convinced of this- all those visits to the gym and i am still thick everywhere where the bike can doctor my soul- my son took me a 14 mile bike ride- and since i didnt die- i felt it was meant as a hint that -in fact- i was missing out- last week there were thousands of people doing the mt hood to coast bike ride- it was so cool- that many people on bikes- so i played reggae REAL LOUD so they could hear me coming behind them- and didnt ride in front of me- THEN- there was the ceremony and five day---- and a friend at my window at 130 in the morning- and she needed to talk- when i went to sleep the orange line of sun light was in the sky - and i thought' havent done this for awhile' but ---- i was ready for the ceremonial love to be over for a day or two- needed to go back to being whatever me is-
seemingly just muscles and cunning desires- with gwen stephani groaning in the back ground about 'underneathe it all' whatever i say - i would rather be on a ride- with ocean breezes by the sea- sunlight all over me---
the many days of more than 96 degrees in the shade

that Mt. Hood to the coast bike run sounds nice It's too hot here at the moment for anything like that ... I've been going in the evening right around dusk almost and early in the morning before things begin to heat up - did six miles this morning but it's the most I've done so far - had the bike a week and already looking for another bike - need something with a larger range of gearing - this is an ice age landscape around here and the glaciers didn't leave anything flat behind - as they retreated north they dropped all they were carrying to make ridges and some fierce hills and gravel dunes & when you do get something "flat" it's always on a grade that can go for a mile or more - fun to go down but going up will take your measure ... in just the short week I've had the bike though and going out every day has begun to strengthen thigh & calf for longer endurance - I'll get there - I think

southeast wind - 94 degrees - 8:25 a.m. - 7/18 - July lying heavy & complete on the land - she don't wear stockings or any kind of dress but cutoff jeans cut high & a thin cotton top - July ain't any man's wife but she'll act the mistress and put a man's mind on the only thing it should ever be on. She'll bypass the roller coaster altogether - put a man on her merry-go-round & when that's done a man might be able to stagger on home or he might drop straight to the ground - she's 98% pure bullshit for sure but her other 2% ? Her other 2% is rock solid.
