my dog is more human than I am - at least most days - never been to South America I think I am content with pics of it or vids plus I would have to learn Spanish like you say & I am just too lazy for that and it would take away my enjoyment when the latin ladies start shooting that Spanish all over the place - I don't really want to understand what they are saying for it would destroy my romance of it - I just want to hear them speak it for I truly love the listening of it - another thing is I have hardly scratched the surface of my own language after all these years and it is a very deep well - each word a world with seas & coasts & mountains & valleys & rivers & a history ... as for traveling I spent the greater part of my life in it, in the length & breadth of that, the roads always going off the people the houses the cities - the spaces between the cities - the roads always bringing you to and taking you from - the urge for all that and it's calling voice, once so paramount in my life, is quiet now & speaks differently these days and of different things - don't get me wrong - I like bombing around on my bike or paddling my kayak or walking or sitting outside the coffee shop watching the folks come & go - the world and all it's things present different mysteries to me now - I want to know the worlds that lie just at the edge of my toes - to turn around in a look behind me to see where my dog is in the woods & catch sight of a moment in which a single leaf is falling down from its tree - the curve & float of it and where it comes to rest on the earth in that moment changing the whole appearance of the forest - of the world for that matter - I don't want to go far these days so much as go deep in line with the Scripture that says, "What is seen is temporary, what is unseen is eternal." In this way I find things unguessed and unknown to myself right here, right where I am in space & time & I find that this is enough for me these days. I would say it is a healing to me after all the time I've spent running with my face into the wind.
Enjoy yourself, Jana, if it be where you are or South America or the steppes of Mongolia - if you enjoy yourself in it all you win.

when i was pregnant with him in the northern part of italy - it was cold that winter- he was always happy- anyways - my youngest- those green italian eyes- with that smile like my mother and her perfect teeth- that laughter=
oh- yeah but now- he is a BIG GUY- with his finger in the various pies- has a resturant bar- he opened- because there was nothing to do- FISH= export of chillean sea bass- and - santoya- [crab]
i love languages- although i doubt it is posible to perfect any of them- but if you imagine what they are thinking it is often an easier barrier to cross- italaian is the best- romance language-
a taxi driver saw a woman and i looking at each other and the child with her- he says' do you know her?'
no i say
but i am lying
because she and i are women
we speak the language of children and love
and some things that we have found are best left unsaid- because- that is how it has always been
do not disrupt what you cannot replace
that taxi driver didnt believe me either
my sister says='write a cookbook'
my x husbands are like?' huh?'
cajun-italian-surfer man-salty dog
each direction blesses with medicine-
creator says wake up
the garden of getseme= 'wake up'
and well- they fell asleep
so in my efforts to be AWAKE and full of GOD-
i just say thank you-
pick up the dog this morning- love that guy-
so what is the most amazing task at hand:?

there were things i wanted- and places i had to see- i was young and filled with a curiousity - i loved hard and i left fast- sometimes it seemed that - i heard different languages = one that spoke to me- of simple things- like 'listening'=
so much time has passed since that time- and i guess those moments of implosions and difficulties has passed for this - moment anyways- these days my friends are falling apart- like a sweater coming undone- they seem to be losing fuzz as time goes on-
there came a time where i just knew if i was going to have those pancakes on a beautiful plate with a side of fruit- i was going to have to make them myself- that all that dreaming about kindness is just that- an illusion- my room mate is doing what she always does- sitting- and watching the t v = having not done anything at all- today- she crunches her food from a box or a bag- this is to avoid any real contact- control-food comes from a nice neat tidy box- = she just stopped eating white sugar-= and now ploughs through a case of izzy s a month- just like the good ole boys with beer- however- she is wired for sugar- and denial=- it is not fun to be with someone that has merely stopped- doing something that made them sick- it is way better when they smooth it out with some of that work that can be done on the inside- i couldnt make anyone be nice to me- and i went around thinking that i had to do these things to make people happy- what a joke.
but i am not really laughing- i am amused at the absurd- the language of hearing what someone is saying with thier heart- and that language i can hear- i with a hearing impairment - have difficulty hearing - and driving with one who talks to himself- i think it is annoying- to have to say 'huh' are you talking to me- like taxi driver-'ARE YOU TALKING TO ME?'
and maybe not so dramaticly- there are things i refuse to hear- i do not like the impolite- please- do not talk with food in your mouth-etc- then there is the body language- a girl that sits down loose like a noodle- hunting with that one eye of the single woman- and then there is me- not really wanting to talk much- or do much of anything but love= the language of love- turns out i am not so great at any of that.... kisses for those that tried to love me as well- long deep once in a lifetime kisses

I make up my own languages as I go - plus listening to all the others in the air - and I don't curse myself with a lot of thinking unless it's absolutely necessary - thank God it ain't necessary too damn often 8)

Mexican? There's a Mexican around here? I don't know if he smells good or not - o he must be nimble. He's probably one of them Indian runners or something like that - ya never know these days - every thing so chained up & what is cut loose is in no language I ever heard of - maybe when the Great Pumpkin shows up we'll discover he's Mexican or Aztec - it's that Spanish blood ya know, threw an ace of spades into the burrito & now Humpty Dumpty is in a big fix with the Emperor's horses all around him. I tell him "Relax! It's not so bad Amigo! You can still run for mayor of Yew Nork City!

Hell maybe I ought to run for mayor of Yew Nork City - I'd ban cars & every form of stupidity I could find. Turn the whole thing into a bicycle only zone & I'd get a secretary who spoke Spanish so I could sit around all day and listen to her talk and get paid for it!

Hell yeah, Mongolia!

" I wouldn't call that leaking. A little seep, maybe, but not leaking. Them concrete houses were hideous anyway. Looked like above ground bomb shelters. Be glad you don't have to live in one.
I'm curious - if you lived in one & had a dog would his doghouse be cement too? "

the amusement engine dreams in simple snakeskin - the education of signs - the middle is walking around in it's medical meal apparatus but events are examples of exchange only - not to be confused with meaning - the education of milk - love is elastic & sometimes dust but a memory of a father with dogs can span existence - the old places are gone to the drive-in movie's long brown hair popcorn & down by the river they ain't never comin' back - even in error or ends - enough?
sure, I've seen the moon - big fuckin deal - sets the edge over the egg then what? expert eyed first look when you can't look away, the both of you hanging there like magnets & maybe the sun will go down or come back around to find you in the same bowl - indians singing on the bus - hobo girls hanging their ass out the boxcar to take a leak while their companions hold them so not to fall off - it's a big bore til you put up your sails & bring plenty of apples on board - so like a painting - connections are made and vanish same time tomorrow - the postal mofo's flower office was made with a jackknife they used to give away free - used friends for sale or trade of equal value - let me know what ya got ... garden in the future today - 'til the fruit is a force on your fork - even if you go on foot ceramic snakes will dog you with their stiff selves - goldilocks goes negro with a berry in her teeth & her lips pose as feathered serpents - the father of everything now known was a snake or serpent and only one thing we know about him for sure - he wern't human

a girl give glass - flame for the flags - the woman wakes up - the dog goes on sleeping - boy brain works in the dark toward substance but if he changes his mind he can still sell strange to the straights because they believe in structure & mythic streets & roads

fragilities ya know - our inclinations subject to persistent notwithstandings - random revisionists at abandon - brains by nature exploitive - curiosity triggers our format intensity
free radicals coincide and we cohere into a protocol of touch for the new thing -

into some something
a tell
a see
but & can
we was about want
now ok ?
i understan you want to doll up the act
until it all looks really right
in 3 dimensions
our hearts are different painters
than our heads
cocks & pussies are minimalists
- when the math looks right they are a go
here the earth is spirit
so full of something

Down at the rainbow record restaurant the rifle rings the robot with pyramid radar. Salt & sandpaper sandwiches all around. Satellites, schools, & sex, paintbrushes & passports.
A woman in a diamond dress drills a drink from the drum as the earth eggs toward electricity. A girl in gloves is coming they say & she has game gardens for everyone.
I was young when taken under the bridge to see the "dirty" pictures drawn there in chalk on cement. The sunlight reflected off the moving water cast them all in waves of light - a crude cave of crude artists filled with longing. I remember all this was in the days before the fossils of giant carnivore birds were discovered far to the south.
