the main ride at the moment - got an old 3 speed I use quite a bit too - this is called a hybrid bike - combines elements of mountain bike & commuter bike - it's actually called a Coyote 2 - I shit you not - got a decal of a coyote paw print on the front of the steering tube - thats what sold me to it when I went to look at it - it's just the romantic in me - had never had a hybrid bike before and must admit i'm not a big fan of derailleur gear systems but this little girl is pure fun - covered a lot of dreamtime with this bike - I'm a wheelin' fool on her 8)

Used to b my computer in them stacks-a-books

RH Blyth
Poetry before the greeks
Think too much
They do
Mind rambles
Egg scrambles
Pushing thru
Do waka do
Wabi sabi
Rin tin tin
Join the partee
Jump on in
Its sink or swim
Take off/no landing
Last jammer flying

the pic cracked me up!
i checked out the site beatdom.com -
thx for the tip - just scanned mostly
but I'll dig into it tonight for sure
when it comes to words I want
shit that excites the hell out of me
gets me thinkin & seein' new ways ya know
gets inspiration goin'
i know what ya mean 'bout the library
as a kid - i didn't get into town too much then
but now it's right at your fingertips
right THERE !
all the words
all the ideas
the poetry
the jam
the paintings
things about people in the doin' of it all
all over the world
ya don't even have to get out of your chair
even after years of being exposed to it
it still puts the wonder in me
and gets me rollin' too
couldn't say enough 'bout the kindle
whole libraries in that slim package
and you can throw the whole thing
in your backpack for times on the road
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Ifn u gots that connection?
World @ our fingertips
Info possers
Vast stores of knowledge
Which some say is power
I can watch the job when not there
I can write my jam
Take my shots
Give it the all
Fall in love
Look at the earth from up above
Who'd a thunk it when we was kids
A miracle indeed

1:11 a.m.jam

wind
& rain -
jam going into the dark wet night
there are creatures trying to make
a living out there in the dark
hell yes I want the wind to be up
want to hear it blow
ideas of our own
in struggle with the same darkness
that Judas walked into
as he went out from
the upper room toward his
thirty pieces of silver
hell yes I want the wind to be up
want to hear it blow
hell we might even find Atlantis or completely
disprove the myth
regal barbaric
gathering rumors
spreading truths
jamming thru the days
all miracles have foundations
hell yeah the word comes first
always first
and reality follows
follows
follows

Go!
Action poetry
Jam
Some wanna slam
Judge it
Keep score
Who's da best
The american way
I'm more cerebral
Good/bad judgements
for the critics
The pickers
The lickity splitters
Jus jammin cause i have to
Like the blues
In me n its gotta come out
Boogie chillin
Still willin
See pretty alice in every head light
Broke that pennsylvania truck stop girls heart
Jus wasnt the girl for me back in '73
Neither was diana in baltimore
Needed more spice in a wired life
Way its gots to b
In this land of o say cant you see
Found my wild woman
Now shes 4 years gone
Me still out there
Singing my wired song
I'll be doggone
Like a turkey in da corn
Great balls a fire
Full of desire
Wanna take u higher
Come on baby light my fire

children of the word
is what it is
children of the word
in every house
on every street/road/corner
no one owns it
no one blows it
righteous it comes
righteous it goes
from the baby at mother's breast
to the ancient car left in the woods
with the trees growing up thru it
the declarations & constitutions
made a place for the jam
for the blues/jazz/rock & roll/
for the word to come tumbling & bumbling
america belongs to no one & to all
the word made it
the word upholds it
& the word will erase it
until that day we love & hate
and crumble where the heart is broken
and rise where it's made whole
we make it or fail the line
it's each man/woman/child breathing
that makes all worthy
some spice
some fire
yeah & yeah put it on our stones
they came
they saw
they jammed
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

never read dr sax
just about it
but I been thinking about it a lot these days
my demon friends
and I
we been dancing round and round like a mountain road called the devil's backbone

St Jack, I will fear no evil in the valley of the shadow of the big data

Kierkegaard was born the next of kin
to a wayward wind
fearing and trembling

sad songs
on broken radios
never last too long

Patsy Cline John Prine cut up
listening to a melody of lyrics
sweet mystery of music for me

lonesome traveler
in a lonely crowd
welcome to St Jack's asylum for the terminally heart broken

trying to get to somewhere
but I don't know where
going through the motions
going no where fast

entangled up in blue
listening to the melody of time
oh well, smoke um if u got um
first thoughts and second thoughts
stoned thoughts

Ravens go down
Skins fly high
All about the win
Killing mockingbirds
Heckle n jeckle
All them disney crows
Laffing on kansas power lines
While vincent blows his brains out
in a french wheat field
On a gloomy grey-blue day
Within you/without you
George Harrison and all his
derivitives....Derrida....Goethe.....sarte
Joe the bartender goin to university for
a degree in philosophy
Adam said them greeks was trumped by Zen
Do all dogs go to heaven?
I wanna know
Han Shan....ryokan....Ikkyu....saint Jack
Neal at the wheel slaughtering Carolyn's psyche
Rambling down mexican byways
Chipoltopec...oxaca....oriziba blues
Ending up on Lowell river banks
A home in the orlando burbs
Momma cooking beans n frankfurters over the range
Lonesome traveler drains searching for the origin
of his Breton name

hanging up my pistolas
for the night
wrestled the angels
pulled on the cape
said words over a roadkilled turtle
he was flat as a dinner plate
and a revelation too
ate leftovers at dinner
a face seen in the street
put me in mind of another face
from time was/ain't now
and hunted warm blankets upstairs
for a woman who was cold
my tea is cold too
makes my teeth ache

some whitewater in those rivers
always liked the name shenandoah
a whole jam in one name
hill country too
john brown - there was one focused
bitch-of-a-son
went to Harper's Ferry
just to get his ass hung
it was one night in Bangkok for me
tonight on the chess sites
some hungry fighters out there
things were done
blood was spilled
good luck on your show at the cafe

Che rides the Dragon's Back bone
chilly chilly? chilled, cool on my stool
thinking about those mountains in winter
I am a flatlander for sure
but oh lord lord lord
how I miss those
I miss those cool August mornings in the Valley of Virginia
October winds blow snow on mountain road
the ice in the shadows
'one night coming off Soldier Summit when there used to be a road for me
:? '
ah my mind wanders
Lew Welch the mountain man
I can feel his disease
sometimes I just come here to hear the music like I bookmark my mind to studio eight 8)

John Brown's body is marching/slouching towards Jerusalem and I want to be in that number when the beat-est go marching on

a morning I need music fast
right now right here
