yeah you get to noticing different stuff in things around you - yesterday when i was out riding i come up on a brown oak leaf laying on the edge of the road all by itself- nothing else around it - nothing to add to it and nothing to take away from it - center of attention thing -sun out and i was just going along easy - the leaf caught my attention so i stopped there -
i noticed the leaf was casting a shadow beneath itself - wow - was all i could do - wow ...
what else can ya do when faced with stark raving reality?

i posted something else earlier but it's not here - sometimes these things just blast themselves out into cyberspace never to be seen or heard from again ...

people say they want to be young again - not me - that period had its own trials & tribulations -na, no thx - trouble with memory is it's highly selective - it's taking a single thread from a piece of whole cloth and then attesting that that single thread is the whole shooting match -
of couse if deception in any form and for any reason helps to sooth the mind who am i to say to hell with it? ...

i inked a poem onto a stone yesterday while out riding - a boulder actually by the side of the road - added my calligraphy to the weight of the world -

the poem went -

sucking on rain bones
spitting out the seeds
this is what i'm thinking -
moccasin dreams

52 degrees out there and RAINING - WHAT A WASTE! Well I'll show 'em - i'm gonna just sit right here and eat peanut butter on toast 'til the roost comes home to the chickens! That'll teach 'em !

[size=200][/size]that dawn and its early light- the pilgrims are coming- all that dead turkey on the table- i have spent years at the AA and NA functions- for the homeless etc- who would have ever thought my family would invite me?
for me= it is a meticulous thing= what i will wear- to my son s girlfriend family s house- imagine that?
i will be presenting him with a sacred gift and her as well-
ya know -
that guy with the with he beard? that santa dude- ? well - i personally have a rather homosidal view of that guy- and i wish i could get drunk and shoot his plastic well lit ass off the rooftops- which is one of the reasons firewater is not recommended-people laugh- not realizing how for real i am-

the phone is ringing- i have learned to stay on task and ignore it- it shouts out the name of the person calling- and - you can decide- the person calling is a real pain in the ass- demmanding and shit-

well- the reindeer stand a much better chance of surrvival- really- and we have plenty of rifles and bullets-
but really- that is in case everything goes to shit- marshall law- other wise- i prefer bow and arrow- it is more 'fair' in the hunting realm- i want to go fishing- - i do not know why- but i really need a good coat so i can grab a sock eye or two
