Cheap sunglasses
Laughing gas
Giraffe burning on the plain
Stuck out in the rain

- holy straightjacket draped on an angel - :!:
sweet jane & muddy waters in business together
your jam sparkle on the monkey train
loaded for bear
without explanations fine by me
this is rocking Holly
all the way to the woods!
what's a po' boy to do with
all those burning giraffes
but enjoy the scent of the smoke?

Mind visions
No decisions
Just Rollin & tumbling
Cryin the whole night long
Back from the fray
On the ride that train
A little snooze
But I'll wait till tomorrow night
to really cut loose

Maturity koan by Kurt V.
'Maturity is a bitter disappointment for which no remedy exists, unless laughter could be said to remedy anything
.'

far is near
hear in here

my spirit is broke
and I think it is a dam good joke
cause god ain't mocked 'cept by believers

it ain't being dead that I worry
it's the getting there
rock of ages cleft for me

a highway sound
lew heard maybe maturity
is just the forlorn rags that Jack dreaded

when I hit the road

twenty bucks a month
and I can cover my final expenses
leave an estate like Lew welch

in the spiritual and political loneliness
of the fifties dem beatz would hitch
a 1000 miles to see a friend

pre road jitters
waiting for that sacred core
that burns inside of me
in my Texican home

cut me loose let me fly
after all these years I am still alive

me and mean gene
after the war
been ten years since I saw my old friend
new friends are silver
old friends are gold

puppets on my putz
I liked to watch silent woman's face
I could watch her pleasure like a felini movie
I loved her like a natural woman
she never had a script
and I never tried to please her
cause my name is ricky nelson
and life and jam is just a garden party

Rain.....rain....rain.....
Wet day
10:30 we call it quits
Gobble-gobble coming
Big Sur
Wanna see again
Amazon instant
It's good mingo
Dark but good
All the characters fit
Cept the Lew Welch
Not him
Not my vision of him
Jack good characterization
Jean-Marc Barr
He was in The Big Blue with Jean Reno
In 80's, favorite of mine
Head pouring = me
Damn workin in rain
Miserable
Nothin good bout doin rebar
In a cold rain
On the positive side
Holidaze....4 days off coming
Time to write and read and wire it up
Spend time with friends
O they're partying up at old Nola tonight
Late, might make it after some sleep
See how's I feel
Leaving early
Freezing rain in morn
Back to Jack
Big sur bout the end
The why he did what he did
The alone he couldn't stand
He made it on the mountain = fire watch
But not this time
Musta been the drink
Or maybe he just gave out
He shoulda never had the fame
He wanted it
Got more than he bargained for
Better to stay struggling
On the edge
On the fringe
Floating
Coaxing the night
When you make it they all want a piece of you
Then u unravel
Eventually burn out
Even the strongest do
It's written in the wind
Mongolia!

Crossing paths
All about Lew
All about St. Jack
Them friends take off
& drive ya cross the US of A
Just for a laugh
Lew was a man
Lew was the ring of bone
Lew took off into them sierras
Nobody knows where till this
very day
What happened????
He did his own Rimbaud
The movie got him wrong
Now Carolyn, she's done right
Ultimate babe
Jack done good
Using his words
Most of the dialogue the book
Done like I felt a kerouac movie should be done
Jam mingo
Jam ST

my vision of Lew as a friend
why he did go for a hike
I don't want to pick over them dry bones
I done it with Sylvia for years
not her death that matters anymore
what learned me is what she wrote in life
same for Lew
and
goodbye norma jean
I could have loved her better than old joe

meanwhile I smoke another cigarette and think about Clay
live another day

why people do what they wack a do
god made man cause we are a barrel of monkeys

all about jamin with my friends
is sweet

but I need to see my old friend
just to hear him sing
"shut up jack tilles
I bored with your blues
many a man has travelled this road
faced all the troubles blows and woes"

I wish I could just click my heels together and be back in his Shenandoah home for the winter solstice,

Rain pounds roof
He was a gentle-man
That Clay January
Spent some days and nights with him and D
Did some shows
He was honest
Very kind
Feisty but not as much as on these screens
Talked me into getting a keyboard
We were always supposed to go play some golf
Never did
Miss him, always will
Haven't seen D for a good while
Funny how we all know each other
On different levels
Real and cyber
Met
Levi a few times
He's come to poetry night
Asks my advice and opinion on new poetry site
Still ain't like action on old litkicks
that page was the bomb!
Went on and on down the screen
Exciting to see the patterns grow
Hung out in fells pt a couple nights last week
Was interesting
Just not home base anymore
Now it's here... Frederick, Md.
Times change
Things rearrange
Just gotta flow
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

if only
I wasn't tied to lied to
by my words
making too much sense

but friendship and poetry and jam
keeps me a float
float me a boat
sail away sail away
it is true
silent woman
kind woman
loving her was easier than anything I have ever done
been so long
ago
the memories still so strong
I never thought I would end up like a priest
just my karma these past thirty three years
for not paying more attention to the woman on the end of my putz

Hey hey hey
Nanny nanny
Someplace in Willie Shakes
I'm sure
That last a nice poem ST
Missed till u see it, mingo
Perpetual
Perpetuity
Purpose
Propose
Procrastinate
Playback
Picky
No defining
Wide open
Willie shakes
Mongolia throats
Little guys with big space guitars
Singing another world
Out of this universe
Ghenghis Blues
Ride them little ponies
Across the tundra
Conquering everything
Unify
Unite
Umbilical
Umber
Jam
Sauce
Sticky
Licikity splickty
Willie Shake
St. Jack trembles
For Yorick
For Maggie Cassidy
For Carolyn
For Neal
"Neal's not dead", he said
Tyke the cat dying
Threw him
He loved that rat in Ferlinghetti's cabin
Death
But a portal
The uncontrollable
U gots to believe
Age=#'s
I remember my folks
thinking they was old @ 40
Shezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
But the fact
Acceptance
All the poems I wrote, write, ring out
No opinions
No how's
No why's
Wherefore art thou's
Laughing, screaming, howling @ the moon
Willie Shakes
St. Jack moans
Al the writers in between
Like a ( dare I say it) dream
All the singers singing songs
All the friends who beg u to come along....come along
Pulling
Pilfering
Ping-pong ball in the rapids
On this all the worlds a stage
Alas poor St. Jack
I think I wanna watch that movie again
Jam
Mongolia

the door behind the door
at the end of the hallway
of a house in Baltimore
in 1944
what do children know
about the void
what's the hurry
time enough
we are born to be immortal
and yet we die
it's a big old goofy world
some children are born old

Jimi stopping time
Chopping it with
his axe
Classiest piece of rock
history I ever saw

Tres Jammers
Can make a difference
The spontaneous back & forth
To and fro, the bottom line
Starbucks now
Thanksgiving runners abound
Run for your lives kiddies
Opinions abound
Loud this and he said
she said that
Overloading the wired fly on the wall act
I be in
These are special daze
Thoughts always turn to that
Magnificent woman know as Carole Jean
She loved these holidaze
Wish I could
Although I'm gonna be Santa for a night
Should be interesting
Might just be my future job
All I need is a hot helper
Make me swelter in that red suit
Here in this land of o say can you see
Where everything u been waiting for
passes by in a flash
Cause it's all o so brief
Better to stay in the moment
Everything gonna be alright
Long as I gots me an RC cola and a moon pie
